HABIT Study

The Wellness Collaborative is partnering with Massachusetts General Hospital on a community-based research study exploring ways to improve the health and well-being of older Black adults living with chronic pain and early cognitive decline. Participants will take part in one of two evidence-informed, 12-week group programs designed to support physical, emotional, and cognitive health. Developed in collaboration with community partners and older Black adults, the study aims to ensure the programs are culturally responsive and meet the unique needs of the communities they serve.

The Wellness Collaborative is proud to be recognized as a community partner in The Bay State Banner's coverage of collaborative aging research. The article highlights how researchers and trusted community organizations are working together to promote health equity and improve aging outcomes for Black older adults. Read the full article.
