(TWC), founded by three Black women – an internist, a pediatrician, and a psychologist, is a nonprofit that provides an innovative solution to eliminating health care disparities. TWC provides education, insight, and best practices that promote sustainable personal and community health, wellness, and resilience.

Position Summary:
This newly created stipend position will grow in scope and responsibility over time. The role combines essential administrative support and project management for key initiatives at TWC, supporting the efficient, smooth operations of the organization and advancing our mission to eliminate healthcare disparities. Director of Project Management and Operational Administration will work collaboratively with the TWC Research Study Co-Principal Investigators as well as the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Program Manager and research team to support the ongoing mission of the multi-year study and facilitate the timely completion of deliverables by the dates stipulated within the PCORI Grant Award. The Director of Project Management and Operational Administration will represent TWC’s values in all interactions with partners, donors, and the community, and will oversee operational, administrative, and project-based responsibilities.

Location / Work Model: Boston, MA, hybrid work environment (working 30 hours per week, minimum of 2 days in office per week)
Position Classification: Monthly stipend of $7,315 with the candidate responsible for withholding state and federal income taxes. Please note that this position is part of a multi-year contract.

Key Responsibilities:
Administration & Operations
- Serve as the main point of contact for the organization with stakeholders and the public, managing schedules, phone, and email inquiries
- Maintain TWC’s organizational files, documents, and archives
- Process mail and manage organizational email
- Payroll operations
- Serve as the point person for managing daily office operations
- Manage administrative calendars, including co-working schedules
- Coordinate and supervise interns and volunteers, including recruitment, orientation, and training
- Prepare quarterly reports, meeting agendas and minutes for organizational meetings
- Arrange project-related travel details
- Responsible for managing operations on projects in support of the Executive Directors, Principal Investigator and Co-Investigators’ efforts
- Attend all project and Community Partners Meetings and TWC Executive team meetings
- Facilitate communication and coordinate efforts among TWC, MGH research study team members, community partners and stakeholders, and other project organizations
- Coordinate TWC Signature Programs, including event logistics, marketing, communications, and debriefing.
Grant/Contract Management
- Prepare and monitor contract and grant budgets, analyze financial data, and ensure compliance with funder requirements
- Prepare and submit reports in accordance with funder requirements and deadlines
- Maintain accurate contract/grant records in accordance with TWC and funder’s policies and procedures
- Create print and electronic newsletters, flyers, and other communications; collaborate with the Digital Media Manager on website and social media updates
- Assist with donor communications, including appeal and thank you letters
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Minimum five years related experience in project management, grant management and database management, or social science research; nonprofit experience a plus.
- Proficiency with Google Suites. Familiarity with Canva, and Constant Contact, a plus.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal day-to-day supervision.
- Solid written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent people skills with a focus on being culturally grounded and responsive
- Ability to travel within Greater Boston
