TWC is delighted to be the recipient of a grant in partnership with the Massachusetts Health Counsel (MHC) from CareQuest to continue our COVID VACCINE EDUCATION & EQUITY PROGRAM (VEEP)!
VEEP provides Covid educational forums and panel discussions with TWC experts around Covid virus and vaccine safety. The grant award enables TWC/MHC to provide financial and logistical assistance to community groups who want to organize a family fun local event where families can safely gather and receive vaccines if they would like one!
Aimed at communities of color in Metro-Boston and beyond, VEEP seeks to address the disproportionately high morbidity and mortality resulting from the COVID pandemic by providing easy access to covid education and vaccinations. This is especially important as our youth move back into the classroom. Prevention and protection are key to a safe school year
