Preceded by a six-part series of lectures, panels, and interactive workshops, MassQ Ball 2022: Origin is a large-scale celebration of ritual, performance, and cross-cultural arts, featuring the diverse artistry of and for Boston’s communities of color. Taking place July 9th at The Arnold Arboretum in conjunction with Castle of our Skins’ 10th and The Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University 150th anniversaries respectively, the Ball is a collaboration with visual artist Daniel Callahan. A space for connection and healing, this intergenerational, multi-cultural exhibition of the arts asks the question:
